The Music Ministry Teams

Founded eight years ago, the Parish Music Ministry Teams mission statement is to ‘help the body of Christ meet with the Lord thorough considerately led worship’. Weekly rehearsals are a time of worship to the Lord, not just a time to practise music for forthcoming services and events.

The team play during the majority of Sunday morning services at St Peter's and St Leonard's, as well as for prayer ministry days, church away days, celebration services and many of the weddings that are held in St Peter’s church. The musicians play a broad range of instruments from keyboards, the organ, guitars, saxophones, flutes, trumpets, cellos, drums, percussion, vocalists and tin whistles (though not all at the same time!)

If you feel the God is calling you, or just want to play an instrument or sing, then come and worship with us on a Monday evening from 8pm. There is no pressure to play for a morning service, just close fellowship as we worship the Lord together in prayer, through music.

For further information or to book a musician or band for an event, please contact Paul Walker by email or phone (below.)

St Peter's Bell Ringers

Bell ringing is a team activity that stimulates the brain and helps keep you fit ... it also makes a glorious sound! Many consider ringing to be their contribution to church life, others do it for the pure pleasure and the company it brings.
