The Alpha Course
     
The Alpha course is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life and the Christian faith. The course is structured around a series of informal talks followed by discussions, this all takes place over food. There are over 28,000 Alpha courses running around the world in every type of church.

The Marriage Preparation Course

The Marriage Preparation Course is a series of four sessions designed to help any couple planning to marry, strengthen their relationship. It’s a great opportunity to spend time together as a couple looking at the important issues in your marriage.

The Marriage Preparation Course is very practical and will help equip you with the tools needed to build a healthy marriage that lasts a lifetime.

Each week you are given the opportunity to enjoy a special meal together and listen to a talk. Then there is plenty of time to discuss the topic as a couple. There is no group work involved at any stage of the course

Recovering from Divorce & Separation
WHO IS IT FOR 
Anyone who has been affected by separation and divorce or the breakdown of a long term relationship:

  • Men and women who know the pain of being left by their spouse or partner for another
  • People who’ve chosen to leave their relationship and are struggling with guilt
  • People with or without children
  • People whose relationship broke up some time ago, but still feel the sadness and struggle with resentment
  • Same sex couples after the breakdown of a long-term partnership
  • People with a faith, some faith or no faith at all

The course aim is to provide practical and emotional support, allowing people to adjust to new situation, rebuild self-esteem and eventually  move forward and grow in a new life. The sessions offer the opportunity to discuss challenges being faced and the tools to deal with them effectively, as well as the healing that comes from shared experience.

WHAT’S INVOLVED?  The sessions start with a talk, followed by opportunities for discussion in small groups.  The small groups are led by people who have personal experience of divorce/separation/breakdown of a long-term relationship themselves.  The setting is welcoming, relaxed and unthreatening, and we stress the importance of confidentiality.

Parenting Course

A six week course aimed at parent's of babies through to teenagers.  Covering all aspects of parenting including communication, the pressure of family life and discipline.

The course is informal and includes the opportunity to share ideas and discuss topics with other parents in a relaxed and confidential environment.
