Older Children & Youth Work

Our aim and vision for the young people of the Iver area is to give them a safe place to relax and socialise in, to show them that Christianity is still relevant in today's world and to teach the morals of Jesus Christ; building God's foundations on the hearts of the future, all being done in an
encouraging and supporting environment.

The Core Youth Centre

The Core is a youth centre, which provides events and activities for the young people of Iver and Richings Park to enjoy and be involved in. At the moment we work with young people between the ages of 8 - 18yrs. We run youth clubs, drop-in cafes, youth services, half-term events, youth holidays and much, much more...

Venue: Richings Park Sports Club
Time: Saturdays @ 9:30am - 11:00am
Age: School Years 4 - 11

St Peter's Football Club (juniors) was started in 1996 and began with only a handful of children attending the weekly training sessions. This continued and grew slowly until in 2000 we were able to form a team. In the season 2002/2003, thanks to the support of the parents we were able to run teams at under 8, under 10 and under 12. During these years as well as running the teams we have continued to provide weekly training sessions. Today we have approx. 160 children attending on a weekly basis and now have an adult team.
